About Me:
I'm a General Practitioner (GP) who enjoys helping and empowering people through the use of Western Medicine, Relaxation Training and Medical Hypnosis.
My medical training and subsequent work has included:
I enjoy offering my patients the possibility to use relaxation training and medical hypnosis for various medical conditions. In 2017 my wife and I opened the "Wave Hypnosis" office in Geelong which we ran for 4 years. All Medical Hypnosis consultations are now at Torquay Medical Health and Wellness Clinic. I am passionate about helping people, living in the moment, following my "highest excitement", spending time with my beautiful wife and family, Iearning through new experiences, and enjoying nature in any way, with as much surfing, backcountry snow skiing and tree hugging as I can fit in!!
My medical training and subsequent work has included:
- 1996: MBBS - completed at The University Of Melbourne, with clinical years at The Austin Hospital
- 1997-1999: Internship and RMO years at Barwon Health (The Geelong Hospital)
- 2002: FRACGP - completed General Practice Fellowship
- 2007: Certificate Of Medical Hypnosis - The Australian College Of Medical Hypnosis
- 2013, 2015: Further Hypnosis Training with Psychiatrist Dr Brian Weiss in the USA (studying Regression Therapy, Jungian type psychotherapy and rapid induction techniques).
- 2024: GP at The Torquay Medical Health and Wellness Clinic, working 3 days in General Practice and 2 days in Medical Hypnosis.
